Inauguration of Zhichar Building Database, Electronics Correspondence Archival and Management System (E-CAMS), Spatial Plan Inventory System (SPIS) and the Emergency Shelter Preparedness Dashboard.

The MoIT is pleased to announce the official inauguration of our four new dashboards developed by the Geomatics and Logistics Division under the Department of Human Settlement. This marks a significant milestone in our journey towards data-driven decision-making and enhanced operational transparency.  These systems include the Zhichar Building Database, Electronics Correspondence Archival and Management System (E-CAMS), Spatial Plan Inventory System (SPIS) and the Emergency Shelter Preparedness Dashboard.

The Zhichar  Database is  a repository of all the building data in the country while the Spatial Plan Inventory System (SPIS) is a platform where all the spatial plans in the country have been digitized. The SPIS includes details such as the area of the Local Area Plan, precinct designation and Development Control Regulations among others. The Emergency Shelter Preparedness Dashboard displays all the evacuation centres in the country with demographic details and list of disaster items available in each local government. The Dashboard has been developed in collaboration with the Local Governments.

The Electronic Correspondence Archival and Management System is being rolled out at the Ministry where all in-coming and out-going letters will be uploaded,  archived, forwarded within Departments and Divisions and TAT will be monitored.

The dashboards were inaugurated by Dasho Secretary during the 23rd PPCM held on August 6, 2025 at the MoIT Conference Hall.
