Seminar on Bio-Aethestic Planning in ECRUL Parks at Thimphu and Paro

“By strategically integrating natural elements like diverse plant life, water conservation features, and pathways, Bio-Aesthetic Planning creates spaces that are not only visually appealing but also foster well-being and harmony with nature.” – Dr. Tayan Raj Gurung

On 26 August 2025, the ECRUL Project Management Unit hosted a seminar on Bio-Aesthetic Planning for urban planners, architects, engineers, and technical professionals.

With 30 participants from the Responsible Parties and the Ministry, the session enhanced knowledge and encouraged the integration of bio-aesthetic principles in the planning of ECRUL parks, thereby strengthening our collective commitment to building greener, healthier, and more resilient urban spaces.

This activity is supported by the Global Environment Facility and implemented by the Royal Government of Bhutan in partnership with UNDP.
